Benefits of Paint Protection Film (PPF)
You just spent a ton of money on a new car. It’s beautiful, it’s fast, it’s perfect… The last thing you want to do is ruin the paint job. But no matter how careful you are, things happen. Scratches, nicks, dings, chips… they all add up and make your car look old and junky. But there’s a solution! Paint protection film (or PPF) is a clear adhesive wrap that protects your car’s paint job from the rigors of everyday life. Here are just a few reasons why you need PPF on your new car:
It Protects Against UV Damage
One of the main reasons cars lose their paint jobs is because of UV damage from the sun. The sun’s rays can fade and discolor paint over time, making your car look old and faded long before its time. But paint protection film acts as a barrier between your paint and the sun’s harmful UV rays. So you can rest assured that your car will keep its showroom shine for years to come.
It Prevents Scratches and Dings
No matter how careful you are, scratches and dings are just part of owning a car. But with paint protection film in place, those scratches and dings will happen to the film instead of your actual paint job. That means no more costly repair bills or touch-ups! Just remove the damaged portion of the film and apply a new piece—it’s that easy.
It Adds an Extra Layer of Protection in Extreme Conditions
Whether you live in an area with harsh winters or hot summers (or both!), extreme weather conditions can take their toll on your car’s paint job. But with paint protection film in place, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. The film will protect your paint from salt, sand, rocks, and anything else Mother Nature can throw at it. So you can drive with confidence knowing that your car is well-protected no matter what the weather is like outside.
Paint protection film offers a ton of benefits for anyone who wants to protect their car’s paint job. It blocks out harmful UV rays, prevents scratches and dings, and adds an extra layer of protection against extreme weather conditions. So if you want to keep your car looking like new for years to come, PPF is the way to go!
Ceramic Coatings are All The Rage
A car that shines brightly and repels water, debris, and dirt? Sign us up! In all seriousness, though, ceramic coating for cars is becoming increasingly popular for a very good reason. This advanced form of protection not only makes your car look amazing but also keeps it protected from the elements in a way that traditional wax simply cannot match. Here’s a closer look at why ceramic coating is quickly becoming the go-to option for car care.
The Benefits of Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating creates a durable barrier on your car’s surface that can withstand high temperatures and harsh chemicals. This means that your car will be better protected against things like UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, and road salt. And because the coating is so tough, it will also help to prevent etching and staining from happening in the first place. Traditional wax simply cannot compete with that level of protection.
In addition to protecting your car’s paint job, ceramic coating also makes it easier to keep your car clean. Water will bead up and roll off the surface of the coating, taking dirt and debris with it. That means you won’t have to wash your car as often, and when you do wash it, the process will be quicker and easier. Talk about a time-saver!
Finally, ceramic coating gives your car an amazing shine that will turn heads everywhere you go. The high gloss finish is truly something to behold. If you’ve ever wanted your car to look like it just rolled off the showroom floor, then ceramic coating is definitely for you.
The Drawbacks of Ceramic Coating
Now that we’ve gushed about all the wonderful ways that ceramic coating can benefit your car, it’s time to talk about a few of the potential drawbacks. First of all, ceramic coating is not cheap. A typical application can cost anywhere from $500 to $2000+ depending on the size and condition of your vehicle. However, most experts agree that the long-term benefits outweigh the initial investment.
Another potential drawback is that once the coating has been applied, you must take extra care when washing and drying your car. You’ll need to use milder cleaners and avoid things like automatic car washes which could strip away the coating. But if you’re willing to put in a little extra effort, your car will thank you with its shiny good looks for years to come.
Conclusion?
Ceramic coating is quickly becoming one of the most popular options for protecting and preserving cars thanks to its many benefits. While there is an initial investment involved, most people find that it’s well worth it in order to enjoy a brilliant shine and improved protection against the elements. So if you’re looking for a way to take your car care to the next level, look no further than ceramic coating. Your car will thank you!

Frankly, even if Gyeon® or System-X Y Z could compare, no one has the network of Elite Dealers to honor your warranty anywhere in North America. Ceramic Pro Does and Auto Detailing 360 is the ONLY Ceramic Pro Elite dealer in Grand Junction.

Elite Dealers offer a nationwide warranty that is honored throughout North America. Auto Detailing 360 is the Only Elite Dealer in Grand Junction and they cover Moab, Delta, Montrose, Rifle, Fruita, Palisade and more. They are worth the price and definitely worth the drive!
Ceramic Pro Ceramic Coating 3x Harder than Paint
On the average Tesla®, Ford® Truck, Chevy HD, BMW®, Lexus® or another brand of vehicle the clear coat has an average hardness between two and four. They also tend to arrive with imperfections in the paint, swirl marks, and other random scratches. As a Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer, we will spend hours correcting the finish of your vehicle and then apply a multi-layer ceramic system that bonds with your paint on a molecular level; once done, this gives your vehicle paint a hardness above 9H — meaning it is three times more resistant to scratches!
The Only Permanent Coating & Available with a Lifetime Warranty
Sealants and waxes degrade quickly. Other ceramic coatings can be removed with denatured alcohol or other solvents — we literally have written confirmation of this from another brand. Ceramic Pro Ceramic Coatings are permanent. They can only be removed by mechanically polishing or sanding them off.
UV Protection
The proprietary formula in every bottle of Ceramic Pro will keep your vehicle’s paint from aging or fading from UV light. Here in Colorado and Utah, the SUn we love so much beats down on our vehicles, causing them to fade faster. Ceramic Pro eliminates that concern.
Easily Maintained
Ceramic Pro ceramic coatings are easy to wash and clean. You will never wax again. Once a year, bring your vehicle to Auto Detailing 360 for an inspection and exterior detail. Even better, minor scratches can be easily removed without impacting the integrity of your original paint.
Other companies will tell you there is no such thing as a lifetime coating. For them that is true. If you select a Ceramic Pro Lifetime Ceramic Coating and you have us or any other Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer in North America maintain it once a year, and the coating fails, your warranty will be honored. We guarantee it and we have a national network behind us. Period.
How to Compare Pricing On Ceramic Coatings
Comparing prices on ceramic coatings can be difficult. This is especially true since no one else in the Grand Junction area can offer the warranties we offer. What is Ultimate Armor
Ultimate Armor is the newest and best appearance package on the market from Ceramic Pro®. It features a full front paint protection package — also known as clear bra or PPF, followed by a lifetime ceramic coating on the paint, wheels, and glass. for $3,699 your vehicle is protected for a lifetime
Clear Bra vs PPF
Clear Bra is a familiar term to many car and truck owners. The term PPF or paint protection film is less familiar. The question becomes what is the difference between the two? The answer is relatively simple. Clear bra is an old term used to describe a paint protection film that was put on the frontmost portion of the hood of your car or truck.
As technology advanced, the material known as a clear bra evolved into a paint protection film that can be used almost anywhere on a vehicle. Paint protection film is often abbreviated PPF. Today many Tesla and high-end vehicle owners will wrap their entire vehicle in paint protection film. Many other vehicle owners will do a traditional clear bra, now known as a partial front or a full front which includes the whole hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors, and door cups. Other areas such as the luggage strip or tail gate, and often the rocker panels can be added on individually or as part of a package.
The Best PPF
There are several very good brands of PPF on the market. There are also a lot of brands with little to no exposure, poor technology, and little if any support for the consumer. As we reviewed the Paint Protection Film industry we found three clear leaders: 3M®, XPEL® and Ceramic Pro®. Durashield Titan is also a brand that performs incredibly well.
So which brand is the best? While this is certainly a matter of opinion, we initially narrowed it down to XPEL® and Ceramic Pro®& Durashield Titan. While we liked the 3M® brand we found it to be more difficult to work with and felt that could lead to a lower quality installation.
We brought in stock of Ceramic Pro®& Durashield Titan and since we did not have direct access to Xpel we ordered some online. After working with each of the brands we feel that Ceramic Pro® Paint Protection Film (PPF) is the absolute best choice for your paint protection needs.
Using PPF and Ceramic Coatings Together
As the industry continues to evolve two product types that used to be seen as competitors are coming together. It is no longer necessary to choose between Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coatings. In fact the ideal situation is to use PPF over the most chip-prone portion of the vehicle and Ceramic Pro Ceramic Coatings everywhere else. In fact they are launching the Ultimate Armor package which includes a lifetime warranty on a full coating and full front PPF.
